Who is Ali Abdaal and should you trust him with your time, attention, and money? Lets take a deep dive into who this man is and whether he should be trusted or not.
I came across Ali Abdaal after doing a review on one of his programs called Part-Time YouTuber Academy.
And after doing some research on this course, I discovered that it was legit and Ali Abdaal is exactly who he says he is.
But if you have just heard about this man, you might be wondering what he is all about and why is he so popular.
Well that’s what I will be talking about today in this article.
So lets get right into it!
Who is Ali Abdaal?
Born: 11 May 1994
Birth sign: Taurus
Currently Living: United Kingdom
Profession: Ex-doctor, currently an online influencer/entrepreneur (more on that later)
Where is Ali Abdaal From and Where Does He Live?
Ali Abdaal was born in Pakistan, but shortly after moved to South Africa with his family when he was a child.
Now he currently resides in London, United Kingdom, where he runs his massive YouTube channel teaching people how to live happier, healthier and more productive lives.
Earlier on in Ali’s career he was a teacher assistant for about 4 years until moving to medicine in 2003.
He studied at Cambridge University, United Kingdom and has been living in the UK since.
How Did Ali Abdaal Become So Famous?
You’re probably here because you saw Ali’s monstrous YouTube subscriber count (3 million), or one of his programs, or social media posts, or something else, and wondered who this guy is.
Well I’m here to break it down for you.
In 2016 Ali started his YouTube channel where he would talk about living a happier and healthier life.
At that time he was still a full-time doctor.
His productivity tips videos got a lot of attention and that has shown throughout his entire YouTube career.
This man is a productivity hacker, constantly putting out great content that does well in the algorithm and his audience.
He has learnt so much about YouTube since starting his channel in 2016, so he created the course Part-Time YouTuber Academy.
This course teaches people how to build a YouTube channel from 0 to 100,000 subscribers within 2 years.
I done a full review on that program which you can see here.
Needless to say, Ali definitely knows what he’s talking about when it comes to growing a YouTube channel from scratch to a thriving online business (as his students have found out).
Is Ali Abdaal a Millionaire?
Ali Abdaal is indeed a millionaire, in fact he is a multi-millionaire who has taught thousands of students to make money online with a YouTube channel.
He earns anywhere from $300,000 to $500,000 per month, resulting in at least a couple million dollars per year in revenue.
So yes, Ali Abdaal is a millionaire and knows how to accumulate wealth from the internet.
How Much is Ali Abdaal Worth?
Ali Abdaal has many ventures that contribute to his monthly figures.
However, we can’t pinpoint exactly how much he’s worth entirely because that’s personal information.
But based on his many different programs, highly successful YouTube channel, courses on Skillshare, among other things, I would say he’s worth upwards of $50 – $100 million.
His Skillshare courses alone earn him around $90,000 per month.
This man is a genius and makes so much money selling courses on productivity and motivation.
And that brings me to my next point, why he left medicine in the first place.
Why Did Ali Abdaal Leave Medicine?
Many of you are probably wondering why he would leave a stable career like medicine to be a YouTube creator/entrepreneur, where your income can fluctuate tremendously.
Well I’m here to answer that.
The biggest reason, according to a written statement on his blog, is that entrepreneurship offers endless possibilities.
You can work wherever you want, however you want, collaborate with anyone, travel whenever you want, and just generally take your business in any direction.
Basically he was after the freedom that medicine couldn’t provide.
Here’s Ali’s official statement
Of course there were some risks involved leaving such a high-paying career, but Ali could always go back to medicine if his YouTube/Online career didn’t work out.
Fortunately it did and he’s making millions of dollars per year!
Is Ali Abdaal a Scam Artist or the Real Deal?
Ali Abdaal is far from a scam artist, and is actually one of the few trusted individuals when it comes to business tips, productivity, and motivation.
His quick path to fame has earned him a great reputation, and many successful students who can back up his claims.
Here’s the deal
I have been in the internet marketing business for many years and have seen a lot of scam artists pull the wool over our eyes.
Ali Abdaal is not someone you need to worry about as he has nothing to hide.
I have no issues with this man and think he’s a good person to look up to in terms of motivation and productivity.
And ESPECIALLY business.
When someone makes millions of dollars per year, it’s in your best interest to listen and learn so you can apply the information to your own life.
So that’s my final opinion on Mr Abdaal.
If you’re interested in growing a YouTube channel from 0 – 100,000 subscribers while speeding up the learning curve by years, you might want to check out Ali Abdaal’s Part-Time YouTuber Academy.
My review explains why most people fail the YouTuber creator business, and how you can overcome these failures and see success in a vastly saturated social platform.
All credit to Ali Abdaal though, and his great tactics.
My Final Opinion
This was an easy review on Ali Abdaal as he is legit and does not need to be exposed.
Regarding his courses, they are all incredibly well done with lots of students that have found success with them.
If you’re thinking about getting started with one of his programs, I say go for it as he is who he claims to be, and unapologetically “the guy that left medicine to become a full-time YouTube creator”.
And I think that deserves a round for applause for such a ballsy move.
So that’s my final opinion on Ali Abdaal.
