There’s a huge misconception that you can make money simply by copying and pasting links. This is nothing more than highly misleading information.
Can you make money copy & pasting links?
Technically yes, but likely? No.
Not in the sense that you are thinking.
When I think about copy and pasting links, I think about spamming all over the internet and getting paid a pretty penny for every link posted.
This is not likely going to happen with any system and I will explain why in this article.
I hope you enjoy and learn a lot about how real money is made online.
So Can You Make Money Copying & Pasting Links?
Yes, it’s possible but highly unlikely.
Don’t believe everything you see on the internet claiming that you can make $500 per day by posting links.
99% of them are lies or downright misleading.
It’s near impossible to make a good income copying and pasting links. The reason is that you will need hundreds of thousands of traffic to make it worthwhile.
On the other hand, if you’re smart enough, you can make it work, depending on what type of links you’re posting.
Lets talk more about posting links below.
1. Link Shorteners
One way of making money posting links is through sites such as Linkvertise, Shrinkearn, Shrinkme, and more.
There are many of these “link shortening” websites that pay you money for sending them traffic.
Earnings are determined by country and website.
The best traffic is US traffic as they pay out the most.
However, the big problem with link shortening websites is that the pay is low, it’s incredibly hard to get traffic, and most people don’t click on shady links anymore.
If you’re not using a popular link shortener like Bitly, you will find it incredibly difficult to get people going through your links.
But yes, link shortening works and you can anywhere from $1 – $10 per 1000 visitors.
2. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is the act of selling someone else’s product and earning a commission.
Again, don’t believe that this is easy money because it definitely is not.
You need highly targeted traffic to make it work.
Spamming people on social media your “best method to make $1000 per day” is NOT going to make you any money.
People are getting smarter in the online world and can smell scams a mile away.
The new approach is to sell to targeted traffic.
For example: A person searching up the “best shoes for basketball players” are 10x more likely to click a link and make a purchase far more than someone opening up their DMs and being spammed a make money opportunity.
That’s the difference between targeted traffic and spam.
I love affiliate marketing, but it’s not as easy as grabbing an affiliate link and posting it all over different social platforms, there is far more work required.
Here’s how I learnt to grow a blog from scratch to 4 figures p/month.
3. Good Ol’ Spam
This is an old school method that worked really well back in the day, but as more and more people got tech savvy, earning money from this method died down.
That’s not to say that it doesn’t work. If you work hard enough, money can still be made.
Basically you’ll be grabbing an affiliate link, then spam comments sections of of blog posts, forums, news articles, etc.
I recommend Clickbank products since you don’t need to be approved, just sign up and grab a link.
Again, I need to drive home that you probably won’t make money from this method because it’s an old school approach, but still possible.
Here’s a tutorial on BlackHatWorld from someone that had success with it.
Most People Will Mislead You
Most people that claim that they have a method that will earn you hundreds of dollars per day copy & pasting links are flat out lying and they know it.
Copying and pasting links sounds good in theory and may be possible, but the truth is that it’s not going to happen.
I am a professional internet marketer of 5 years but been in the industry for longer than that. You name it, I’ve tried it.
I tested SO many things to try and make money online and most things didn’t work, I discovered that most people lie, and most people want something out of you.
The one thing that worked for me was creating a blog, creating high quality content, and making money via affiliate marketing.
I started in 2016 and now I do it as my full-time job.
It doesn’t sound as easy as posting links, because it’s not.
But it’s a real way of making money online and you can actually quit your job if you stick it out long enough.
Don’t Fall For the Hype
Don’t fall for the hype that is easy money.
Like I said, most people are just lying to you to get something out of you, whether it be a YouTube view, a new subscriber, an email sign up, or even a sale of a product.
I see so many YouTube channels claiming that you can start making money today by copy & pasting links.
But when you actually watch the video, it’s nothing more than a whole lot of nothing.
I watched one before writing this article and he said that you should post your affiliate links on Free Classified Ads websites.
I’ll tell you why this doesn’t work, because people visiting those websites are ONLY trying to sell their own product.
They don’t care about yours and you probably won’t even click on your link, let alone make a purchase.
Do it the right way, creating a blog and provide a solution to a problem.
It’s a proven method that’s worked for years and will continue to work for years to come.
Most other things that people claim is just wishful thinking.
