Commission Machine sounds like the golden opportunity to make lots of money by doing nothing, but if you’re skeptical, you should be because it’s not as legit as it sounds.
I’m known for calling out systems for what they really are, and Michael Cheneys’ Commission Machine is no different.
I am no stranger to Mr Cheney.
Recently I reviewed his 7-Figure Franchise system, and I’m sorry to say, but that system was found to be a scam.
And as suspected;
Commission Machine seems to be on the same side of the spectrum.
Michael Cheney is using all the tricks in the book to make a quick buck, and I’ll explain how inside this review.
So lets get right into it.
Commission Machine Review
Name: Commission Machine
Owner: Michael Cheney
Price: $47 + upsells
Refund Policy: 30-day money-back guarantee
Type: Make Money Online Opportunity
Overall Rating: 10/100 Scam
What Is Commission Machine?
Commission Machine is the handy work of Michael Cheney, a reputable online marketer in the “make money online” niche.
He’s popular on Warrior Forums and JVZoo.
Michael claims that you can make $2642.60 per day just by buying this system and making money in as little as a few hours.
Now I don’t need to tell you that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
This well-know phrase couldn’t ring anymore true when it comes to the Commission Machine.
However, lets get into the nitty-gritty stuff so you understand what this system is all about and why I’m not a big fan.
While the business model Mr Cheney teaches is actually legit, the way he goes about it is not.
The training consists of finding products that have proven to sell and spamming them all over Facebook, in the comments and DMs of your friends and family.
Don’t worry, I tried it to see if it worked so you didn’t have to.
In fact I tried it many years ago (in 2014) because I was told from another system that I could make “easy money” by selling products via affiliate marketing.
And yes, he told me to do the exact same thing, spamming affiliate links in the comment section on Facebook, Twitter, and even private messaging random people.
I tried this for ages (a good couple of days) and made no money whatsoever.
Now keep in mind that this was way before the online marketing space was less saturated.
Imagine trying it now, there’s absolutely no way you could make a sale.
I actually wrote a guide for selling products on Facebook.
The other way Commission Machine wants you to make money is by capturing emails and selling them products.
Again, a legit concept that’s been around for as long as I can remember, but the training is as thin as a one-dollar bill.
They tell you to capture emails, find products, and sell them to your email list.
Yes I’ve tried this method as well. It does work but there are a lot of things they are leaving out.
Email marketing requires:
- How to choose a niche (nil)
- How to build a good landing page (nil)
- How to get traffic (nil)
- How to provide value to your subscribers (nil)
- How to properly sell products (nil)
- How to keep your subscribers happy so they stay long-term customers (nil)
As you can see, I have put “nil” next to the things that Commission Machine has left out.
These are all VITAL things you need to know before gaining any type of success with email marketing.
Create a Website
They also tell you that you need to create a website and promote affiliate products.
YES, a great, and might I add, a 100% legit way of making money online.
Actually this is how I make most of my income online, but…
Yes there’s always a but.
The training inside Commission Machine is not enough for the average newbie or novice to find success.
There is so much required to build a website, generate traffic and earn affiliate commissions.
However, the training that worked for me is called Wealthy Affiliate and they have 10 free training videos.
I definitely recommend you check them out as it’s the only thing that worked for me after years of joining “get-rich-quick” schemes.
So Is Commission Machine a Scam?
Yes, Commission Machine is a scam.
There’s no way you can earn over $2000 by copying and pasting templates.
You won’t make money in as little as today.
Even the legit concepts don’t contain enough training to become successful.
The sad truth is that Michael Cheney does this with all of his systems, hypes them up to the max and makes it seem like you can make big money by doing nothing
The other 90% of people on JVZoo do this as well.
These people are not completely honest and they will do anything to make a quick buck.
Fortunately I have been in the internet marketing business for about 7 years and can spot these fakers a mile away.
I’ve bought them before thinking I was going to get rich fast.
I was a victim just like everyone else.
I know the red flags and I know who’s making all the money. It’s always the owner who created the product and their affiliates who sell the product for them.
There’s nothing great about Commission Machine, it’s simply an overhyped system with nothing of value to offer.
The Pros and Cons
Some of the Business Ideas are Legit
Affiliate marketing, email marketing, creating a blog, these are all time-tested methods that have worked for millions of people all around the world.
However, that’s the only nice thing I can say about Commission Machine.
Now you’re not going to like the cold-hard truth that I’m about to drop.
It’s Full of Hype
One of the biggest red flags is the hype aspect.
If they have to make it seem like this is the greatest thing since sliced bread, they’re doing everything they can to make a quick buck.
Even if that means letting you down on the training once you’re inside.
These people want to squeeze as much money as possible out of everyone that buys their system.
Before you’ve even finished buying the first program, you’re hit with your first upsell costing upwards of $200 to “fast-track your earnings”.
This is all lies and nothing more than a sales tactic. All you’ll be getting is another couple of lessons with absolutely no substance to them.
The concepts work, but the training lacks in every possible way.
Basically all you’re getting is some advice on how to make money online.
However, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and a website is the staple of internet marketing.
People know this already, so they’re not learning anything new.
No Ones Making Money
Even if you implement the strategies they teach, you’re not going to make any money.
Spamming Facebook groups, the comment section, and friends and family online is a surefire way to get blocked and reported.
This method is seriously outdated and didn’t even work 7 years ago, so there’s no way they’ll work today, especially when the average internet user is tech savvy.
Seriously, people are smarter than we think. We literally have a PC in our pockets these days.
My Final Opinion On Commission Machine
I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.
This system is not going to work for anyone, it’s simply designed to squeeze every penny out of those that buy it.
The training is half-ass at best, and the crazy income claims are false advertising, or shall I say scam.
I think that sums up Commission Machine in a nutshell.
Create a REAL Online Business Instead
Like I said, I have been in your position, it’s the get-rich-quick mentality.
The problem is that these systems that are doing all the promising are making all the money, and they’re taking advantage of the desperate and those people that don’t know better.
I guess you could call it ignorant on our part.
I’m not ashamed to say I fell for these scams, because I learnt a lot, and it lead me to creating a real online business instead.
I create blogs and write articles that rank in the search engines.
Once you’re ranked, making money is inevitable. The hard part is getting the traffic, but don’t worry, they teach all of that over at Wealthy Affiliate.
It’s the same training that I used, so I know they are legit and they work.
Well thanks for reading my unbiased Commission Machine review.
