Lets get into it.
FB Academy Review

Type: Facebook advertising
Overall Rating: 70/100 Legit
What is FB Academy – The Lowdown
FB Academy is exactly how it sounds, a training program that teaches you how to make money with Facebook advertising.
Before we move forward, I would like to say that Facebook advertising works and lots of money can be made if done properly.
The difference between succeeding with Facebook ads and failing is in the testing. Without much testing you will likely lose money.
That’s why anyone that wants to spend money on paid advertising should be ready to splash out an arm and a leg.
Anyway, FB Academy is a the brainchild of Anik Singal, a successful internet marketer who teaches people how to make money online.
He’s released many systems in the past, one of them called Inbox Blueprint 2.0 which I’ve reviewed before.
IB 2.0 was a legit system but Anik tends to price his products way more than they’re worth.
But moving on…
How FB Academy Works
Like I mentioned, Facebook Academy teaches you all about Facebook ads.
Even though you can find this information completely free on Google and Youtube, it’s set out in a convenient way so you understand what you’re doing, how you’re doing it, and why.
There are a total of 9 modules.
- Module 1: Getting Started With Facebook Ads
- Module 2: Funnels
- Module 3: Landing Pages
- Module 4: Ads
- Module 5: Targeting
- Module 6: Optimization
- Module 7: Advanced Strategies
- Module 8: Certification
- Module 9: Nuts and Bolts
Lets take a little dive into each module so you understand what you’ll be getting.
An introduction to Facebook ads, why it’s important for any business, and how to do it correctly.
Creating a funnel is mandatory for any business. A basic funnel works like this.
- Get people onto your landing page
- Get sign ups
- Promote a product
- Make sales
Basically the more traffic you can get into your sales funnel, the more money you can make. This module teaches you about funnels and how to create a successful sales funnel.
Here’s an example of Shopify’s sales funnel.
A landing page is where you’ll send traffic to, it’s the start of a sales funnel.
Once you capture email addresses, you can start providing helpful information and making sales.
This module shows you how to set up your ad campaign the right way. There’s a lot of jargon inside the Facebook advertising panel, most of it not needed, and it just confuses people.
Well this module clears all the confusion up.
Module 5 teaches you how to target the right people for your niche. This is covered in previous sections, but there’s more detail here.
Module 6 is all about optimizing your campaigns so you can stop the things that aren’t working and continue the things that are.
Facebook ads is all about testing, lots and lots of testing, that’s why you can burn through money so easily.
Sometimes you can spend hundreds of dollars and not make a cent.
That’s why things like FB Academy is so important, to help people learn the ins and outs of something that can waste your money.
It’s not just about having thousands of customers, you need to provide value in order to make sales.
Someone with 1,000 leads can make more money than someone with 10,000 leads. It’s all in the marketing efforts.
Well module 7 shows some advanced techniques like how to promote to your audience once you’ve captured some leads.
Without the right strategy it can take an incredibly long time before you make 1 sale.
In this module you’ll receive a legit certificate that shows you’ve finished a Facebook advertising course, which can be used for online social media jobs.
This module is a Q&A section more so than anything else.
The bonuses are pretty decent. Anik provides a checklist so you can check off what you’ve already done and not get overwhelmed.
There’s also ad swipe files that have proven to work and can be used on your own campaigns, helping you make money faster.
They have 24/7 support from their exclusive Facebook group and the support team.
FB Academy In a Nutshell
FB Academy has been set out in a very convenient way for the average newbie and even novice to learn all about Facebook ads, what you should and should not do, how to set up your funnel, and much more.
They’ve even got a to-do list after every module so you can’t move on without doing the steps.
Actually this is the same strategy they use at Wealthy Affiliate. It’s a good way to hold members accountable, so they can implement what they’re learning without skipping anything.
In saying that, there are some things you must know if you’re thinking about diving in and trying it out.
The Problems With FB Academy
Works Best For Existing Businesses
It’s possible that this can work for newbies or anyone that doesn’t have an existing business, but it’s going to take a little longer since you’ll be starting from scratch.
Requires a Hefty Investment
The price of FB Academy alone costs $697, or 3 payments of $277.
However, you will need even more money to promote your business.
As a beginner you’ll be introduced to email marketing. This requires you to capture emails, provide valuable content to your subscribers, and make money from sales.
Therefore you will need an email subscriber service like Aweber ($19.99/month) and a few hundred dollars for paid advertising.
After paying for the system, email service and paid ads, you’re looking at $1000 minimum.
No Refund Policy
Usually high-ticket programs like these offer a refund policy, but Anik says the training is readily available once you purchase it and that’s why he doesn’t offer a refund policy.
However, that shouldn’t matter. I know products that you can download, use, and make money and still get a refund even when you’ve gone through all the training.
This should tell you a lot about this program just from the refund policy alone and Anik’s reason for not giving your money back.
This tells me that most people who buy this system aren’t making much money, if at all.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can anyone make money?
Yes, the business model is legit and money can be made as long as you’re willing to put in the work.
How long will it take to make money?
It all depends on what you’re advertising. Anik puts an emphasis on funnels and landing pages, so you’ll likely be building an email list.
It’s possible to make money within a couple days, but forget about profiting until later on. Building a list is a long-term method.
As long as you can hold your subscribers, you should be able to make money from them over and over again.
Is Anik Singal legit?
Fortunately Anik Singal has been on the internet marketing scene for many years.
In that time he has built up a good reputation from the legit products he’s released.
Who is this system for?
If you already know how to make money online and just want to learn about FB ads and how to create some successful campaigns, this program can help you and improve on your existing internet marketing knowledge.
But if you’re a newbie or novice, you should stay away FB Academy just because of the hefty price tag alone.
Is it a get-rich-quick scheme?
No, FB Academy is all about creating an online business.
And like any business, whether it be online or offline, requires time and work.
It’s not easy money or a fast way of making money, it requires focus and hard work.
The Good Things About FB Academy
Aside from the huge price tag, the training is actually really good and will teach you everything you need to know about Facebook advertising.
Most of the time the people selling these types of programs haven’t even made money themselves, they just slap a few tutorials together and call it a day.
Well in this case Anik has made money with Facebook advertising so he is fully qualified to teach others.
The modules are explained in fine detail to help you understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it.
Because of this it’s a lot easier to take action and move on with the training without coming into too much trouble.
Can Make Lots of Money
As long as you keep at it, you can make money.
However, the money is not made in the short-term, the big profits come in the long-term after you’ve build up an email list.
Is FB Academy a Scam?
FB Academy is legit as it gets, but that doesn’t mean it’s not overpriced or going to be easy.
It’s a hard way of making money online and requires a hefty investment just to get your foot in the door.
Does it work?
Is it for everyone?
90% of campaigns will fail, that’s why it’s important to test different campaigns until you find the winner.
In saying that, FB Academy is not a scam and a legit way of making money online.
Is There An Alternative?
The good news is that FB Academy is not the be-all end-all, and there are thousands of other training programs out there.
Most of them don’t work, downright suck, or are complete scams.
I’ve been making money online for 5 years and the one thing that helped me get there was Wealthy Affiliate.
What I like about them is they don’t promise anything.
They just cut to the chase and explain how money is made online, how to do affiliate marketing, and how to start.
They also have 10 free training videos which is why I got started with them in the first place.
Well that finishes my FB Academy review.
Please comment below any questions or concerns you have regarding this training program, and I’ll be happy to answer them whenever I can.
