Is Gold Opinions a Scam? Yes It Is and This Review Explains Why

Lies, lies and more lies. Gold Opinions establishes themselves as one of the best paid survey sites on the market, but as you are about to find out, this is far from the truth.

I provide reviews for people that are interested in make-money opportunities.

I’ve fallen for all the scams in the past, so I know what it’s like to be mislead and think you’re joining the next best opportunity.

Unfortunately the vast majority of these online “make-money” opportunities are in it for themselves.

They’re out to make money while offering little-to-no value to their members.

Well today I want to expose Gold Opinions for what it really is so you can save your money, time and energy.

What Does Gold Opinion Claim?

Gold Opinions Sales Letter

Gold Opinions is a website that claims they’ve paid out over 8 million dollars from people completing surveys.

They say that you can earn between $5 to $50 per survey and make upwards of $1000+ per month just by filling out surveys.

Getting paid varies, but the most common way to get paid is through PayPal, check or wire transfer.

You can also redeem for gift cards at your favorite stores, both online and offline.

Here are some other things that they claim:

  • Get paid to answer surveys
  • Access to thousands of surveys
  • Work whenever you want to
  • Make money no matter where you are in the world
  • No experience needed

While some of these claims might be true, they are misleading in every possible way.

Below I will tell you what Gold Opinions actually is.

What Gold Opinions Actually Is

Gold Opinions is actually a website with a list of survey sites.

They don’t pay their members any money, the survey sites pays money to customers.

That’s how I know that the 8 million dollar claim is a flat-out lie.

They don’t have access to the earnings, nor can they see how much their members earn, so they have no idea how much has been paid out.

Gold Opinions is nothing more than a website with a list of survey sites.

And they ask for $27 per month, or a 7-day trial for $1. After that you’ll be billed the original $27 unless you cancel before the full 7 days is up.

Can You Make Money Completing Surveys?

Yes, that is a no brainer.

Market research companies spend millions of dollars per year researching the wants and needs of their customers so that they can make more money.

But the claims of making $1000+ per month just by completing “simple surveys” is a big fat lie and very misleading.

Survey sites do pay their members, but some are scams, and the legit ones don’t pay anywhere near what they claim.

On average you can earn $0.30 per survey, taking 10 – 15 minutes to complete give or take. Half of the time you will get booted out near the end due to “not being qualified”.

Other than the fact that earning any sort of money is not easy, there are other things that you should know about Gold Opinions that brings the overall rating down.

I’ll list the pros and cons below, then let you decide if it’s still a website worth joining.

Pros and Cons

Pros

7-day, $1 Trial

I’m reaching here.

Even the $1 trial isn’t that great.

It’s an incentive to get people to sign up and hope that the full amount of $27 gets taken from their account after the 7 days.

So it’s not really a pro, just know that you should cancel it within the first few days in case you forget.

Cons

Low Earning Potential

There’s no way you can earn $1000+ just from completing surveys.

This is a huge lie and they know it.

The most amount you could make, realistically, is $20 – $100 per month, and that’s if you’re working on it most days.

Hyped Up to the Max

Gold Opinions Hype

Gold Opinions know that making money completing surveys is not going to get people rich, nor will they make the sort of money they claim.

This system is hyped up to reel people in that don’t know better, making people think earning big money is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

This is a tactic that many online gurus use to reel people in.

99.99% of the time they NEVER live up to the hype.

Not Worth the Money

You should never have to pay to get a list of survey companies to join.

You can do a quick Google search right now for the best survey sites and find hundreds of them completely free.

That’s why Gold Opinions is nowhere near worth the money, it’s just an overhyped system to make the owner richer.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Bad Screening Process

A lot of the companies in the list are scams that don’t pay out to their members.

This shows that the owner of GO haven’t even taken the time to screen their own list.

They’ve basically slapped any survey company to their list so they can claim they have thousands of surveys available.

Don’t get me wrong, they do have some that are legit, but without doing your own research beforehand you could be joining one of the scams.

Is Gold Opinions a Scam?

Gold Opinions is not totally honest on how much money you can earn.

Yes it’s possible to earn some money by joining survey sites, but the earning claims are far from legit.

And the owner knows this.

They know that most people will not earn the type of money they promise, but they don’t care.

They created this program to make money for themselves, that’s it.

GO do not care whether you make money or not, nor do they care if you join scams and don’t receive your earnings.

And it shows, because they have not even screened out the bad companies.

So I’m going to call it for what it is.

Gold Opinions is indeed a scam and you should stay as far away from it as you can.

Dislike

Gold Opinions In a Nutshell

It’s possible to make money with Gold Opinions, but not to the extent that they claim.

If you work for 8 hours with minimal breaks, on average you’ll earn around $5 – $10, not hundreds of dollars.

And certainly not $50 per survey. Premium surveys do pay that much but they are so rare to get into that most people don’t qualify.

Completing surveys is such a bad ROI in terms of time, energy and effort.

And that’s Gold Opinions in a nutshell.

Is there An Alternative Way of Making Money Online?

Yes, there are thousands of make money opportunities on the net, but few of them offer huge growth.

You can make a penny here and there completing tasks, doing surveys, watching videos, but none of these things will allow you to quit your job.

I joined the scams and I also wasted my time watching videos for pennies.

The problem was that I wanted to quit the rat race, NOT earn a couple of dollars per month.

Back in 2016 I was searching for a review on an MLM system, then I came across a review talking about Wealthy Affiliate.

I joined because of the free trial and now it’s my full-time job.

I learnt how to build a website from scratch, write content that ranks in Google and earn Amazon affiliate commissions.

So that’s my recommendation if you’re serious about making the big money and not pennies.
