Today I’m going to talk about an MLM company called Rain International because they seem to be on a slippery slope.
I like to find out what programs are legit and what aren’t, compile my findings, and then let you decide if you want to involve yourself in such a company or not.
So that’s what my Rain International review is all about, providing the good, the bad, and the ugly truths.
I’m not a fan of the MLM industry because few are legit and do it the right way, but I’ll stay completely unbiased throughout this article.
Without further ado, lets get right into it.

Rain International is a Multi-Level Marketing company that sells health and wellness products. They have been going since 2011 and have been on a slow decline for the last 5 years. Their products are questionable and there are many bad reviews about the people running this business. There’s lots to cover in this review so keep reading.
What Exactly is Rain International?
Rain International is an MLM company that sells health and wellness products, or more specifically, seed-based products.
They also have a compensation plan to help people make money, but we’ll touch base on that shortly.
First I want to look at the products and see if they’re any good or not.
Rain International was founded by a man named Byron Belka in 2011 and resides in Utah, USA.
This company has also been involved in some legal cases which I will be talking about.
First and foremost lets talk about the products.
The Products
As you know, Rain International sells seed-based products to improve the health of the users.
However, as with all MLM companies, their products are expensive and overpriced for what they offer.
You can get cheaper products from their competitors.
The reason MLM companies up their price is to create a discount for distributors in one form or another. In this case it’s the auto-ship feature.
That way, it’s more cost-effective for people to buy from distributors.
This is the first red flag as it gives distributors an incentive to sign up for auto-shipping. Pyramid schemes do this all the time.
In saying that, the products are pretty good (allegedly) and hold a solid 4/5 stars on Amazon.
Although I have no proof whether these reviews are legit or fake, so take them with a grain of salt.
According to Facebook they have 4.8/5 stars. A lot of them are saying that the products are incredible and have improved their health and physicality.
However, there are also many comments complaining about the company. I’ll talk about that in a second, but for now lets talk about how you can make money with Rain International.
How to Make Money With RI (Compensation Plan)
The compensation plan is the “business opportunity” that allows people to promote the products and earn a healthy side income.
Although that’s how they’re supposed to be, but in most cases MLMs get madly abused – to the point where a legit company can turn into a pyramid scheme.
There are 4 ways to make money with RI. They are:
- Sell products – Earn 10% commissions on every product you sell
- First order – Earn a 40% commission on your referrals starter kit. Starter packs range from $143 up to $2,625
- First order bonus match – Earn an additional 10% on succeeding starter kit purchases
- Three and free program – Earn free money when 3 of your referrals earn a combined PV of 300 within their first month
The compensation plan can be a little confusing, especially to people who have never entered into an MLM company before, and to be honest, they are indeed confusing.
They add fancy words to make it seem like you’re going to make money by basically inviting people in, and they’ll automatically buy the starter kit and make you money.
Actually it’s the opposite.
Most people that join won’t buy the starter kit. In fact at least 80% of people who join MLMs lose money. That’s a statistical fact.
The ones that get in early have a higher chance of beating the statistical odds. Seeing as this company as been going since 2011 means your chances of making money is slim.
Can you work hard and make money? Sure, anyone can make money if they work hard enough. But for the average person this is just not possible.
The Bad
They’ve been involved in multiple lawsuits
The owner himself (Byron Belka) along with his VP for Operations Casey Whitaker shipped some products to Nigeria. They were found to be expired products.
In another case, a lab test results showed that one of their products were nothing more than colored water with sugar. Are the product reviews a result of the placebo effect? Possibly.
Auto-shipment
Auto-shipment is a feature that allows you to gain a discount on their products by paying automatic payments every month.
However, I talked about this in my Life Force International review.
To put it simply, auto-shipment gives distributors an incentive to pay the monthly fee so that their upline makes a stable monthly income.
This is the second red flag of a pyramid scheme. In that same link above you’ll see that the FTC themselves they that it’s one of the red flags they look out for.
Another huge problem with this that that you’ll end up with a lot of product that you can’t get rid of.
They’re going downhill
Google Trends shows that they’re on a downward trend and it won’t be long ’til they hit rock bottom.
In some cases MLM companies can stand the test of time. Some of them are still going strong after 30+ years.
Well that’s not the case with Rain International.
The fact of the matter is that no one is interested in their products, and when no one buys their products, the company, let alone the distributors can’t make money.
Negative reviews everywhere
There are more than enough positive reviews about the products. Although after the lab test it could be a result of the placebo effect, OR they are fake reviews.
After scouring their Facebook page there’s no shortage of people complaining about Rain International. It begs the question, how are they hiding everything so well?
There’s complaints of people trying to stop auto-shipping but customer service isn’t responding.
Others say they have unauthorized transactions.
They also don’t even give a refund even though they state they offer a 30-day return policy.
People are saying do not sign up for auto-shipping because it’s hard to get out of. You’re lucky to get a representative to answer you.
Expensive starter kit and products
The products are questionable when you look at all the data and reviews out there.
Who knows whether there is a placebo effect happening or not. I mean, one lady said she found relief after 2 years of using the product.
Like whaaaat? Did it not occur to you that maybe time healed your pain?
The starter kit is also expensive. You need to pay $143 for the level 1 starter kit. Other MLMs charge anywhere from $10 to $60 bucks.
The Good
There is none.
There is literally no benefit to joining Rain International.

On the next page you will be asked to enter the ID of the person who sponsored you.
If you don’t have one, simply click “REQUEST A SPONSOR”.
Next you’ll be asked to choose one of the packages.
These are as follows:

- Builders – $260
- Pro Pak – $540
- Elite – $1,320
- Super Elite – $2,625
After that you’ll need to enter your personal details (name, email, address, password, etc) and then payment details.
Is Rain International Worth It?
No, not in a million years. There’s far too many flaws for me to think a company like this is worth it.
To get in you have to pay a whopping $143, or $199 if you’re from Puerto Rico.
This is daylight robbery in my opinion, especially when you take into consideration that you probably won’t make that money back.
Note: Making any money in the MLM industry is a difficult task. Statistics show that at least 80% do not make any money, which is an eye-opening number.
My Final Opinion
In my honest opinion you should stay away from Rain International at all costs.
I’ve explained all the reasons why in this review. There are just too many things wrong with it.
