Talk Online Panel Review – One of The Worst Survey Sites?

Talk Online Panel is hands down one of the worst GPT sites (Get-Paid-To) sites that I have reviewed for a while.

So why is there talk about how Talk Online Panel is a great way to make money online?

I hear this all the time.

People say their website or app is so great and that people can make easy money completing surveys and such.

Well, I have been in this industry for many years and know that it’s not as all as it seems.

I have fallen for many scams in the past and want to help people avoid them in the future.

So this is my unbiased Talk Online Panel review, and I hope you enjoy.

Talk Online Panel Review

Name: Talk Online Panel

Price: Free
Type: Completing surveys
Overall Rating: 10/100

Talk Online Panel at a Glance

Talk Online Panel is a Get-Paid-To website, where you can complete online surveys for money.

The in-app currency they use is called points which can then be converted into cash via check, gift cards, vouchers, etc.

You will earn 100 points for signing up and another 20 points for liking their Facebook page.

So far they have over 400,000 active members, although I would take this with a grain of salt. I know for a fact that some websites overinflate their numbers.

They also have 66,000 Likes on their Facebook page, but that seems to be completely dead.

The last post was in April 2020, and August 2019 before that.

Moving on, a quick Google Trends search shows that they are rising in popularity, so that’s a good sign.

How Much Money Can You Earn With Talk Online Panel?

Talk Online Panel Rewards

The whole reason you’re probably here is to see what the income potential is for TOP.

Unfortunately this is where it lacks.

I’m a numbers and stats guy, so lets crunch the numbers and see what we are dealing with.

Each survey will earn you around 100 – 150 points, which can take about 15 – 30 minutes each to complete.

Once you reach 2000 points, you’re able to convert them into rewards like gift cards or check.

2000 points = €14.

That means 150 points is around €1 – €2.

Although this does sound nice and all, and easy money, but there are some huge flaws.

Lets cover them below.

Only Available in Europe

They operate in over 20 countries inside of Europe.

So if you’re from the USA or any other country, you won’t be able to join.

Very Limited Surveys

Unfortunately, Talk Online Panel lacks massively in this area.

The amount of surveys that become available to you are very limited.

Someone only received 2-3 surveys a month. It took them 2 years to reach minimum payout twice.

Worth it? Definitely not.

Although you can increase your odds of getting more surveys by completing your profile (fill out all required information).

High Chance of Getting Booted Out At the End of a Survey

Another massive flaw is that you can get booted out at the end of a survey because “you don’t qualify”.

Now this doesn’t just happen with Talk Online Panel, it happens with all online survey sites.

You basically waste all that time filling out a survey and not get credited for your efforts in the end.

High Minimum Payout

I’ve talked about this in previous articles.

Systems that have a high minimum payout are usually a scam or they don’t really want to pay their members.

Some programs have a $2 minimum payout, so you know they are legit.

So why do some companies put their minimum payout so high?

In the hopes that people give up before reaching the threshold, so they don’t have to pay.

I’m not saying that this makes them a scam, but it shows bad morals.

Does Talk Online Panel Have a Referral Program?

Yes, their referral program allows members to invite their friends and family and accrue some points when they complete their first survey.

For every person you recruit and fill out a survey, you are credited 100 points.

I personally think this is not a good referral program, especially because you’re only paid one-time from your referee and are limited to 100 referees per year.

If you have a blog that’s already receiving traffic, it’s possible to earn a regular income from this, but for the average Joe Bloggs, this is a waste of time.

By the way, I do not have any affiliate links to Talk Online Panel in this review simply because I do not recommend them.

What Are the Good Things About Talk Online Panel?

For one, the fact that they are a legit company.

I can’t say that about many making money opportunities out there because the vast majority of them are scams or don’t care about their members.

I’m also going to go out on a limb and say that the referral program can be a passive income earner for someone with a blog that’s already receiving traffic.

Even though they only allow 100 referees per year, that is still an easy €10 per month, or €100 per year for doing nothing other than using your established blog to make additional income.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Legit
  • An okay referral program

Cons

  • Only available in Europe
  • Not enough surveys to make any decent money
  • Too high minimum payout. With only a few surveys per month, it’s going to take almost 1 year to reach minimum payout
  • High chance of getting booted out after finishing a survey because “you don’t qualify”
  • Your points expire after 2 years

And Finally, Is Talk Online Panel a Scam?

The good news is that they are a legit company and have do not have a long history of scamming people.

However, I do say proceed with caution.

Bare in mind that a couple of people have not received their earnings even after a couple of months of waiting.

They emailed and got told to send their ID, which they did and still did not hear anything back.

Even if they are paying some members, there are also a lot that aren’t receiving their earnings.

Because of this, and the fact that earnings are incredibly low, I would have to say that Talk Online Panel is not recommended.

As far as being a scam goes, I can’t say for sure, but I wouldn’t put any of my trust in them.

What Should You Do Instead?

I’m just going to cut to the chase and let you know what I recommend instead.

As you can see, I’m a blogger and have been for a few years now.

I became a blogger after reading a review on an MLM program and decided to start blogging because of the free trial at Wealthy Affiliate.

Basically, you create an affiliate blog dedicated around a niche, hobby, or something that interests you.

There are millions of niches and thousands of ways to monetize a blog, but I prefer Amazon.

Why?

The fact that they are a goldmine. I sold my first blog for $17,492 which was all about camping.

I would write articles about camping and sprinkle affiliate links in my content.

But you can sell literally anything.

Now I have other blogs that make me money even when I’m not at the computer.

I would rather you spend your time creating a legitimate online business rather than wasting your time earning pennies.

So that’s what I recommend.

If you have any questions or concerns about TOP or anything else about making money online, I’m all ears.
