Twitter Takeover: Elon Musk Just Bought Twitter for $44 Billion Dollars!

If you’ve been on the internet today, then no doubt you’ve come across some of the biggest news to hit the web in a long time.

Elon Musk just went and bought Twitter for $44 billion dollars and acted like it’s no big deal.

I’m a big fan of Elon for the simple reason that he’s an immigrant and made something of himself.

He’s also very crazy, another reason why like him.

Anyone with that level of money and status definitely isn’t normal anyway and doesn’t think like an ordinary person.

He’s a visionary and has good intentions in regards to moving humanity forward rather than backwards (which is definitely the case in the last couple of years).

However, there are probably many questions and concerns on your minds wondering what’s next for the social media platform.

So lets talk.

Elon Musk Just Bought Twitter: What’s His Plans?

Twitter

As you know, Elon has been talking about buying Twitter for awhile now, but no one thought he was actually going to do it.

So lets talk about the elephant in the room.

Today there is an uproar from a lot of people, but also a celebration for others.

For the last couple of years, Twitter has been actively silencing and banning people who they don’t agree with.

Anything they don’t agree with they call it “misinformation”.

This is called oppression and it’s a dangerous path to go down.

Elon Musk wants keep the world of free speech available to all and has decided to outright buy Twitter in order to keep free speech alive.

Free speech moves humanity forward as it allows everyone to be heard. Fair discourse is incredibly healthy for a thriving world (regardless of your political views).

If you think something is misinformation, then challenge them and tell them why it’s not real.

Then you can meet somewhere in the middle, rather than flat-out silencing them.

Throughout history the ones that oppressed and silenced others were always the bad guys.

And if we keep going down this path, the future isn’t looking bright.

What’s Elon Musks Plans for the Future?

Elon doesn’t lean left or right in regards to political views and claims to be a libertarian.

Elon is a very smart guy and knows a lot about the world.

He is an interesting character, trying to colonize Mars, building electric cars, buying millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin, and so much more.

As the saying goes, watch what they do, not what they say.

More often than not peoples actions don’t align with their words.

However, Elon Musk is congruent with everything he says, and has done everything he said he would so far.

Regarding Twitter, Here’s What I Predict:

  • Free speech available to all
  • Brand new UI
  • Made better with increased features
  • Constantly upgrading and adapting to the fast-paced online world
  • A mass review on all banned Twitter accounts (that includes the “bad orange man”, although I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want to come back to Twitter anyway)
  • And much more

But Why Twitter? Isn’t Twitter Dead?

Some of you may be asking why the hell would he buy Twitter when there are far bigger social media platforms out there.

Well lets just say that it was NOT an investment opportunity.

Elon Musk is very smart and probably knows that he won’t make that money back anytime soon, nor does he care.

Why?

Because he didn’t do it for the money.

As I mentioned earlier, he wants to protect the 1st amendment right which is free speech and can see how much potential Twitter has.

I also predict a massive overhaul with a new UI, more features, better usability, etc.

And that is definitely something to get excited about.

My name is Brandon and this is my website. I'm just a normal guy that had dreams, dreams that would keep me up at night because I wanted them so badly. Now I'm living my dreams of being an influencer and making a good living doing so. Broke Influencers is another of my creations where I teach people how to get rich being an online influencer, or die trying. There is no in between.
