What is the Easiest Social Media to Grow On?

There are many influencers inside this wonderful thing called the internet.

Everyone wants to become famous.

The rise of social media and influencers and the fact that Gen Z have changed the internet forever, this has caused an influx of social media stars.

Along with that comes aspiring influencers.

Is there anymore room for the up and coming?

Is it too saturated?

But where do you start?

Yes, no, and…I bet you didn’t guess this one. It’s TikTok.

TikTok is the easiest way to get famous in 2021 and I’ll tell you why.

Social Media In Order By Difficulty (Easiest to Hardest)

  1. TikTok
  2. Instagram
  3. YouTube
  4. Snapchat
  5. Facebook
  6. Twitter

TikTok

TikTok is by far the easiest way to grow your following and social media.

Gen Z have mastered this app which is why teenagers living in their parents basements have become famous.

Some of them live in mansions and make so much money that they won’t have to get a proper job in their life.

Why is TikTok so easy?

The content is fun and simple to create, and can easily be shared to any other social media platform.

But the biggest unmatched force is the organic traffic.

Someone completely new with no followers can create a video and get organic traffic. If your videos are good enough people will actually like and follow you.

Instagram

Instagram. another force to be reckoned with.

They are arguably the biggest online dating app if used properly.

Instagram can also be used for getting famous and growing your business.

Whatever you want to use it for, quality content is inevitable if you want to make an impact.

Why is it one of the easiest?

It’s one of the biggest apps right now. Everyone’s on it.

But to stand out and get followers, or “Insta famous”, you have to post quality content so it gets shared by creators.

There is also the “Suggestions For You” feature, allowing other people to find your Instagram organically.

YouTube

While there is a lot of potential for growth in the YouTube space, it is a tonne of work.

YouTubers have come out and said that TikTok is the easiest and YouTube is the hardest because of the workload.

They have to create the video, edit, and publish. All of this can take up to 8 hours or more.

Plus you have to promote, wait for views and then subscribers.

That’s why TikTok has more growth potential in a fast amount of time. There’s no need to promote or spend hours creating and editing videos.

Simply do it on the app and you’re done in 30 minutes.

Snapchat

Snapchat, another difficult social media platform to get big.

My Snapchat is not huge but it’s getting up there. Snapchat requires consistency (daily uploads) and getting new followers on a daily basis.

Which means lots and lots of promotion.

There’s no share option on Snapchat so all new followers come from your promoting efforts.

If you don’t have a promotion strategy in place, you’re chances of making it big on Snapchat is slim.

Facebook

Facebook is now one of the hardest places to grow a following and get internet famous.

There is so much noise in the FB world.

Standing out requires quality content, consistency, promotion, and engagement.

All of these are very important. You can’t be a master at 1 or 2, you need all 4.

Twitter

Twitter is really easy to get followers and probably should’ve been at the top.

The reason it’s not is because you can’t really get famous with it.

It’s more like a tool to connect with your followers that came from other social media platforms.

Seriously, have you ever heard someone say they are Twitter famous?

Which One is Right For You?

TikTok

If you’re looking to earn recognition as fast as possible, TikTok is hands down the easiest way to achieve this.

What if you don’t want to be TikTok famous?

That’s okay.

This is JUST to gain the recognition and awareness for your name.

Once you start getting a good following you can move your fans to other social media accounts and grow those too.

Starting from scratch with all other social media platforms still work, and they will continue to work for years to come.

But they do require lots and lots of work. I prefer the easy route.

If these teenagers can make 5-figures a month dancing for 10 – 20 seconds, I’m sure you can tap into the market and get your slice of the pie.

Where Do You Even Start?

If your ultimate goal is to grow as fast as possible with organic traffic (real people that found your page by themselves, not bought or bots), then you should consider TikTok as your starting point.

The content is simple to create and you can get started today.

Other social media platforms require a bit more work, thus taking longer to get followers.

Getting Started With TikTok

Quality Content Is King

Content is not king, quality content is king and that’s what I need to emphasize.

How to make quality content:

  • Follow trends. TikTok promotes videos that use trending songs.
  • Good lighting. Natural light is perfect for those just starting out so don’t think you need to invest in an expensive backlight just yet.
  • Use trending hashtags. Trust me, your video has a higher chance of getting pushed to other users For You Page.
  • Post at peak times. TikTok peaks at different times everyday, so you will have a better chance at getting pushed up in the algorithm and getting views.

Practice Makes Perfect

No one started as an expert.

Everyone started with bad videos that they only perfected over time.

Also a huge point I need to make is that you should not delete videos that flop.

The thing is, not all videos will do well, that’s why it’s important to keep publishing because it can take that 1 video to make you big and get your other videos recognized.

Finally, Be You and Have Fun With It

The last point is that you need to be you and bring out your personality.

And have fun with it.

There’s so much trends to try out, so many twists you can add to make it unique, and a lot of room for growth, even in 2021 and beyond.

Conclusion

TikTok is still relatively new and a quick way to grow and get followers if done properly.

Who knows if it’ll be just as easy in the future, but for now you have a chance to become a star.

Don’t be discouraged if you don’t get much viewers after 10 videos, 20 videos, or 30 videos.

Consistency is key. It only takes one video to get you noticed.

So that’s my take on this. Get out there and have fun.
