As NFTs and cryptocurrency popularity rises, so does more opportunities surrounding them. There are more than enough scams out there to rule this one out without doing more research.
Therefore it is my obligation to see what we’re looking at and whether or not Womplay is a legit system.
I’m no stranger to scams and know that some of the most professional-looking websites can be the biggest scams out there.
So without further ado, keep reading my unbiased Womplay review for the truth.
What is Womplay, Exactly?
There is a website called womplay.io that claims you can earn real money and NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) just by playing free and fun games.
But where have I heard this before?
Only every other “cool, new opportunity” on the Google Playstore.
However, they usually offer gift cards and PayPal cash, whereas Womplay rewards NFTs and digital currency for your efforts.
How it works is you simply download the app from the website mentioned above, whether it be from your PC or mobile device, and setup your profile.
From there you can play games completely free, win rewards and earn digitral currency.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Or in this case, it may be true, but definitely not as rewarding as they make it sound.
So What Do You Get For Playing Games?
The amount of money or NFTs you can earn depends on the prize pool and how many people cashed out at the same time as you.
The more people that cash out, the less you will receive.
While the less people that cash out, the more you will receive.
To get the most money, simply cash out when fewer others are and wait for the prize pool to be bigger than usual.
The in-game currency is called Wombucks which is what you will receive for every game you play.
The more Wombucks you can accumulate in your balance, the more money you will receive when you decide to cash out.
That’s why you’ll want to accumulate as much Wombucks as possible before hitting the cash out button.
The prize pool can end up being a few thousand dollars, however, split that up between 10 – 20k people and you’re looking at $0.20 cents.
Not exactly groundbreaking income, and certainly not worth it if you ask me.
Digital Currency Is Risky as Hell
They want you to create an account on the Blockchain so you can get paid when you cash out.
However, if you decide to do this, make sure you sign up with a trusted company as you can’t trust anyone these days.
Just look at QuadrigaCX, a digital currency platform created by a well-known and respected man who ended up gambling $250 million dollars (everyone’s money) and then dying.
So whatever Blockchain you sign up to, make sure you do your due diligence first.
Personally that’s not my field so I can’t recommend anything with full confidence.
That’s The Basic Gist of Womplay
So lets recap on how the whole system works.
First and foremost you have to download the app and play any of the games from their huge collection.
Next you will receive points, AKA Wombucks, for playing and competing.
Then you can cash out your Wombucks and prize money in exchange for digital currency.
All of this is completely free, however, there are ways to spend money to get better rewards.
More on that below.
Challenges is an option where you can earn money through NFTs.
Although most of these games require you to pay money before playing, so you’ll have to get out your wallet for this one.
How it works is that you will have to complete a challenge to receive the reward.
Remember, you’ll be spending money for this option, so following the instructions and taking it seriously is mandatory if you don’t want to lose your investment.
However, if you can complete the challenge early on without investing much money, you can earn a very nice reward.
Just don’t expect it to be easy.
The Referral Program
Womplay’s referral program is a little better than some of the others I’ve seen from “make-money apps”.
You’ll receive 25% commissions on everything your downline earns so long as they stay active members of the site.
So if your downline earns 250 Wombucks, you’ll receive 62.5 Wombucks.
Get enough of these active members in your downline and you can be earning a decent passive income for doing nothing.
However, of course this is easier said than done.
It’s getting harder and harder to invite people to making money opportunities because most people think they’re being scammed.
And with the amount of cryptocurrency scams going on throughout social media, who can blame them?
Pros of Womplay
Free to download and use
The app is free to download and use for the most part.
Even though they don’t have a verified app on the Playstore, their official website is compatible with most mobile devices.
They pay their members
Most of the reviews online say they are getting paid their digital currency to their e-wallets, which is a good sign.
I don’t see any red flags of them scamming people, so rest assured, if you decide to play, there’s a good chance you’ll receive your reward.
“Okay” referral program
Regardless of the fact that income potential is very limited, you can increase this by getting hundreds of referrals.
Even though this is quite a difficult achievement, the 25% commissions is worth highlighting.
Cons of Womplay
Slow way of making money
I don’t care what anyone says, this is a surefire way to NOT making any decent money.
This is not even a decent side hustle.
The people making the majority of the money are the app creators and that’s it.
That’s what these systems are designed to do.
They make it seem like you’re joining this great opportunity and jumping on the NFT wagon, but you’re mostly wasting your time, time that could’ve been spent on running your own online business.
Can’t cash out real money
You’re limited on how you receive your earnings.
Most people would rather get it through PayPal cash or gift cards, however, you’re limited to digital currency.
It’s a bad ROI
ROI means Return-On-Investment, which basically means how much time are you investing for the amount of money you’re making.
Sadly the ROI for Womplay is incredibly bad.
Even if you spend hours per day playing games, you might only receive a couple of bucks when you cash out at the end of the week.
There’s far better ways to spend your time.
Is Womplay Legit or Digital Currency Scam?
Fortunately this little website does pay its members the money they earned, which is only the good thing I can say about it.
Even though it’s legit, it doesn’t make it worthwhile, in my opinion.
With the amount of people playing this app, and the miniscule cash-out pool as it is, getting a decent amount for cashing out just isn’t worth the hassle.
I would rather you spend your time working on your own online business, as it’s the only thing that worked for me after joining scams and failing many times.
Is There a Womplay Alternative?
I don’t recommend apps or anything like Womplay just because it’s a complete waste of time and energy.
The games might be fun and you can waste hours for a couple of pennies, but at the end of the day, it’s not a real opportunity that will allow you to quit your day job.
